SOFTWARE STRUCTURE IN A PABX WITH DISTRIBUTED CONTROL

摘要

The requirements on modern PABX:es call for distributed system structures. Such structures use autonomous modules, where every module is capable of handling traffic. As the user wants to see the PABX as one system, all modules must also act together in a coordinated manner.This paper describes the properties of the distributed PABX system MD 110 from ERICSSON. The software is distributed to all modules. Yet central functions are used to coordinate. The central functions have been designed in a way that do not impede the good properties of the distributed system concept.
