Housing Infrastructure Resilience Framework Development for Sustainable Future

Resilience is the enduring capacity of infrastructure systems against natural disasters and to reinvigorate to stipulated performance after the happening of such disasters. A properly oriented study for vulnerability, risk, and resilience assessment are currently lacking for infrastructure systems in developing countries and for the housing infrastructure system in particular. The paper aims to address this gap by reviewing the real field data and developing a framework for evaluating the resilience of housing infrastructure against flood hazards. The proposed framework is developed by integrating of Best Worst Method (BWM) and Weighted Sum Method (WSM), where BWM is used to find the weightage of each parameter, and WSM is used to calculate the resilience of hosing infrastructure.
