The features of induction local heating of problem areas of pipeline fittings of oil and gas wells containing a check valve to temperatures that do not exceed safe values and provide a specified technological mode of operation of the well are considered. A simulation of thermal processes in the COMSOL Multiphysics application package was performed in order to assess the operability of the check valve at different locations of the induction heater relative to the check valve and different types of inductor used for heating. The simulation results confirm the effectiveness of using induction heating of local zones to maintain the operation of the check valve. It is shown that for a tee valve, the most acceptable is the use of an induction heater located on the annulus line of an oil and gas well, and the most energy-efficient is an induction heater with a local inductor built into the body.
