Low-PAPR Polarization-Time Code with Improved Four-Dimensional Detection for PDL Mitigation

We apply a polarization-time pre-coding together with an improved four-dimensional (4D) detection for polarization dependent loss mitigation. By taking advantage of the correlation between the noises, the proposed scheme outperforms state-of-the-art PDL mitigation methods.
