A dye composition of 99.7% pure synthetic glycerin and dispersed press cake dyes allows an increase in dye-uptake and dyeing rate acceleration while reducing energy costs by approximately 75% and water consumption by approximately 95% when compared to conventional dyeing procedures. Performance of dye leveling, color homogeneity and light fastness are obtained by conductive heating of fibers, fabric, tow and carpet.
