Duke Energy implements corporate wide standard for Secure Access Device Management (SADM) to improve Grid Reliability and Operational Efficiencies

The need for a unified enterprise-wide solution for remote device management both to comply with NERC-CIP cybersecurity standards, and improve business processes through automation drove Duke Energy in Charlotte NC to seek a new innovative solution. Duke standardized their device management and developed automated management of never before managed devices. They realized numerous cybersecurity benefits through a reduce threat vector footprint and auditable data-driven remote device management methods.
