The diesel engines are always influenced by the external factors during the operational process. The output engine speed is variable from the noisy signal. The diesel engine speed model has been established in this research. The PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivation) theory has been applied to design this controller. The previous research is limited in investigating totally the diesel engine speed controller. So, the total research of this controller has been conducted in this paper. The system output, unit step, control signal, error integral, error derivative have been analyzed. This research result is useful for scholars in the field of system control engineering. Additionally, there are some next research would be carried from this article.
