摘要

Manually monitoring and analyzing a computer network can be prone to errors due to human factors. A more reliable method is required to minimize errors and increase network analysis accuracy. One way to overcome the problem is to use an autonomous system that can periodically perform the tasks with high reliability. We propose a network monitoring system using the Internet of Things (IoT). We use the IoT to retrieve the current data from network devices. We observe the Round-trip time (RRT), and the throughput of wi-fi in a network and send it to a database for analysis purposes. This way, we can perform real-time analysis in a real time fashion. The challenge is to assure the acquired data by the IoT is actual and accurate for the analysis. Experimental results indicate that our method effectively monitors the current condition of wi-fi devices in a network.
