Abstract: Accelerating beyond early adopters to achieve equitable and widespread electric vehicle use in the San Francisco Bay Area

Despite the Bay Area's impressive EV adoption and charging installation rates, the region must accelerate these trends to meet our goals and lead the state and the nation toward a zero-emission future. The Air District's programs will continue to focus on moving the EV market beyond early adopters, make EVs accessible to all Bay Area residents, and raise awareness of the benefits of driving electric.
