WELCOME LETTER

On behalf of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)-Information Storage and Processing Systems (ISPS) Executive Committee, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the 2021 ASME ISPS Conference.Three decades ago, the first ISPS conference was held in 1991 and this year marks the 30th ISPS conference. Although the main-focus of the conference has been information storage and processing systems including magnetic recording and optical recording, in the last 30 years the ISPS conference has continuously expanded its scope to other technology fields such as biomedical equipment, smart sensors / actuators / materials, AI machines imaging and printing equipment based on ultra-precision dynamics and precision control, etc.
