摘要

A probabilistic forecasting approach based on pinball loss optimization is developed in this paper. Two parameters of a predictive Gaussian distribution (standard deviation and number of distributions) are determined by minimizing the pinball loss function. This approach was used for solving of probabilistic forecasting problems of wind power generation.
