Fair trade is an integral part of sustainable distribution in the sense of informing customers about the conditions of production of fair-trade products and their promotion. However, the presence of another category of these products marketed under the distributor name (Distributor Brand) may or may not be advisable to attract the attention of consumer actors towards fair trade products. This article aims to understand the relationship between fair trade products marketed under the (Distributor Brand) and fair-trade products in Large and Medium Surfaces in terms of opportunities and threats.
