This report compares the basic technical parameters of an existing luminaire including dimmable fluorescent luminaires and their control system with the new LED bio-dynamic luminaire. The new luminaire is made of LED luminaires, which replace the old luminaires at the same location on the ceiling. The number of luminaires remains unchanged so that research can be done under the same conditions. The control method of both the old and the new systems is digital, the difference being that the new one uses a standard DALI protocol with the possibility to visualize the control scenarios.
