摘要

This paper contains results related to the study of the transient phenomena in switching the stator windings of an AC motor from "star" to "delta". For this purpose, the space vector method is used, taking into account the fact that for a certain moment of the switching process the motor falls in a generator mode. The obtained results can be useful in setting the switching times of the commutation devices, as well as to improve the design solutions of powerful induction motors from the dynamic impact of the flowing transient currents when switching the stator windings.
