This paper analyzes the defects of key agreement mechanism between traditional electricity meters and extended modules, and proposes a new type of key agreement mechanism between them. By adding the serial number of extended modules in the command of session key agreement, this approach helps to distinguish which extended module has achieved communication and realizes the purpose of communicating with several extended modules. In addition, this paper comes up with a white list verification method. Each time when conducting the key agreement, it is necessary to judge whether the input scattering factor is included in the white list. If not, it will cease to conduct the session key agreement operation.
