In this article, we present a patient-oriented mobile videoconferencing system via MOST for vehicular telemedicine application. The mobile videoconferencing system is built based on SIP-based network architecture. Physicians process SIP-based registration from different hospitals for telemedicine data center (TDC). Patients can download the generated physician profiles from TDC and determine a suitable "on-line" physician to process telemedicine videoconferencing where the doctor list also can be sorted by hospital name. To apply mobile video conferencing system for vehicular telemedicine application, we also develop a vehicle network base on media oriented systems transport (MOST). The developed vehicle network provides a near 50Mbits/s of bandwidth that can be divided between control and synchronous data, providing almost 45Mbits/s of synchronous data, while simultaneously providing 1.5Mbits/s of control information.
