A new EMC antenna for the low-frequency SE measurement of smallenclosures

In this work the preliminary design of a new, compact andefficient microstrip antenna is presented. The proposed antenna issuitable for the measurement of the shielding effectiveness (SE) ofsmall-size enclosures for which standards such as IEEE Std. 299 are notapplicable because of the dimensions of the required loop antenna.Radiation diagrams and other relevant electromagnetic characteristics ofthe proposed antenna are reported
