Co- and Ti-substituted Sr-based M-type hexaferrite can be of extreme importance owing to their suitable soft-magnetic properties in X-band (8·12 GHz) regime, to feature in passive devices for future cell-phone technology. High frequency magnetic characteristics of SrCoTiFe_(10)O_(19) powder, mixed with epoxy resin, is investigated through short-circuited coaxial line method and microstrip probe method, and compared. Ferromagnetic resonance is believed to occur around 20 GHz.
