A service framework specification for dynamic e-servicesinteraction

This paper presents an overview of the concepts involved inimplementing a totally inter-operable ecosystem of e-servicesencompassing both the business-to-business and business-to-consumerdomains. These ecosystems integrate such things as supply chainautomation, e-procurement, collaborative e-commerce, trading exchangesand personalized business-to-consumer interactions. This paper detailsthe e-speak Service Framework Specification (SFS) and its core API thatform the foundation for intelligent interaction amongst e-services inthe ecosystem defined above. This paper also addresses some of thecardinal elements of a truly inter-operable ecosystem such as compliancewith XML based business process schemas defined by RosettaNet andCommerceNet
