Predetermination of the electromagnetic losses in high speedelectrical machines: application to switch reluctance motor

摘要

Several methods for predicting electromagnetic losses have beenproposed and tested by different teams. This predetermination isparticularly important for the machines with a high rotating speedbecause under certain conditions the electromagnetic losses can berelatively important and thus constitute a non-negligible design factor.In this paper a method for predicting electromagnetic losses, isproposed which associates simulation results with experimental lossmeasurements on the sample of iron sheets under various flux densitywaveforms. First of all, the authors present a synthesis of the state ofthe art based on different methods for predicting these losses
