A PC controlled fully automatic active load-pull measurement systemusing a pseudo-gradient algorithm

This paper presents a method to fully automate active load-pullmeasurements. The main feature of the automation is the use of anelectronic vector modulator (EVM). An efficient pseudo-gradient basedalgorithm is used to control the EVM. This algorithm reaches the desiredload in four iterations for most cases. Measurements results of aNE-76184 transistor are also presented
