摘要

The object of the present paper is the presentation of the firstexperiences made by the authors in the realization of an accurate, highcurrent and wide band current transducer characterized by low cost andsmall size. The working principle of the device is based on thecombination of a Rogowski coil and a D.C. electronic transducerconnected to a split conductor current sensor in order to increase therange of the measurable current. The complete project of the device,whose block diagram is reported in the present paper, will allow one toestimate currents up to kA in a range of frequencies from D.C. to 1 MHzwith a overall accuracy less than 0.5%. In the paper a description ofthe different measurement principles is reported together with firstexperimental results relative to the Rogowski coil section. The dataobtained exhibit an encouraging coherence to the proposed target
