The effect of sampling noise on band-limited periodic signalmeasurement

In this paper, the effects of superposing and multiplying samplingnoise on band-limited periodic signal measurements are investigated asviewed from spectrum. The relations between the statisticcharacteristics of signal spectrum and three parameters such as signalharmonic frequency, statistic characteristics of sampling noise andnumbers of points of FFT algorithm are given. Meanwhile, as a specialcase of the multiplying sampling noise, the effect of time jitter isalso analysed. The conclusions are valuable for analysing the sampledsignal and system quality
