Implementation of DIABCARE quality network

摘要

DIABCARE Q-Net is a European project founded by the EU TelematicsApplications Programme. The implementation of the basic informationsheet (BIS) for the evaluation of diabetes related data, containing afixed data set, will assist the health care professional in structureddata collection. Specifications for collection and transfer of data tothe DIABCARE data software and transfer of information for evaluationpurposes via a telematic communication channel is implemented. Amethodology for data evaluation and the identification of performancegaps (quality circles) will be used to reduce those gaps, putting dataentry and evaluation to its intended use, i.e. improvement of quality ofcare
