Representation and recognition of pictorial graphs using structuralisomorphism

A structural description of a pictorial graph called the vertextype connectivity partition description is proposed. The vertex typeconnectivity partition description captures the structural informationembedded in a pictorial graph and can be used to build the knowledgebase for the representation and recognition of pictorial graphs. In thispaper, the author is interested in characterizing a graph as a whole,rather than its individual vertices
