The TSETSE model is designed to mimic the directionality of thelocal transmittance measured beneath conifer forests. The model writesas a product of a between-crown gap probability by a volume componentwhich describes the radiative transfer within a turbid single crown.Results show peaks of the radiation loading at the understory as relatedto tree arrangement and whorl structure.
