A route to fabrication on Texas instruments gate arrays usingSL2000

The Silvar-Lisco SL2000 suite of programs is one of the commercialsoftware design tools which has been made available to all academicinstitutions participating in the ECAD initiative. Facilities areprovided which allow a designer to proceed for interactive schematicentry at a graphics terminal through to generation of gate arrayartwork. The library support for target devices is very limited atpresent and this paper describes the route to fabrication on TexasInstruments (TI) TAHC gate arrays
