Describes the methodology offered to designers using the ThomsonComposants Militaires et Spatiaux 0.8 micron and 1.2 micron CMOS CSAMlibraries and CSAM design kit environment system for applications withfloating point data processing requirements. This project aims at acomplete support for automated implementation of floating pointarithmetic unit from elements of CSAM ASIC compiled technologyindependent library based on the CSAM/CDK silicon compiler environment
