The method of moments is applied for the calculation of reflectionfrom specially designed microwave absorbers which are different fromconventional ones based on transmission line theory, and non-reflectionconditions are sought. The absorber has periodical arrays of conductivestrips on a lossy material with metal lining on the back surface and isfound to be a new frequency-tuned absorber. It features largeversatility in choosing the lossy material compared to conventionalabsorbers
