In this paper a novel high voltage (HV) system for testing fivespecimens in parallel under different combinations of voltage andtemperature is presented. When partial discharges (PD) are present, thesystem allows under a computer supervision the cyclic acquisition of PDsignals coming out from each specimen by mean of a new partial dischargephase resolved analyser (PDPRA) built in our laboratory. Each specimenis provided by a suitable circuit breaker, ad hoc designed, thatdisconnects the high voltage (HV) side of the broken-down specimen,without the central HV supply is interested. The specimen temperatureregulation (up to 100° C) is performed by a pt100 thermo regulator ina silicon oil bath. Finally, some tests have been performed to check theabsence of any mutual PD interference between the specimens
