Small-Size 5G C-Band/WLAN5.2/5.8GHz MIMO Antennas for Laptop Computer Applications

摘要

This paper proposes a design of MIMO antenna for laptop computers. The antenna size is 5,mm×30,mm×3,mm, the ground plane size is 200,mm×260,mm, and the antennas are fed by a 50-ohm miniature coaxial cable. The operating frequency of the design is at C-Band (3.4 - 3.6 GHz) that announced by World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-15), China 5G C-band (4.8 - 5 GHz) [1], WLAN 5.2/5.8GHz (5.15 - 5.825 GHz). The design uses 2 L-shaped strips to enhance the isolation between them. The simulated and measured of S-parameter results below -10dB, and isolation is also higher than 15dB.
