This paper presents an approach to identifying the full-diversity solution of MIMO detection, which can verify whether a solution obtained by MIMO detection is fulldiversity. The approach is called fine-grained because it is able to individually identify the full-diversity performance for each solution of MIMO detection. To verify the theoretical properties of the developed approach, the conditional probability of missing the correct solution and false alarm, as well as the conditional error probability are analyzed. Besides, a numerical example and practical applications are provided.
