Switching Transients at Cable Transmission System

摘要

There are many transient phenomena at circuit breaker switching. In the past, transient recovery voltage (TRV) for the circuit breaker at overhead transmission line system is mainly investigated. The TRV at cable transmission system is few investigated because there was few the cable transmission system. In this paper, The TRVs at breaker terminal fault (BTF) and short line fault (SLF) for cable transmission are shown. 33kV and 11kV cable transmission system with 10km length respectively are modelled. The calculated TRV parameters are compared with the IEC standard.
