Effect on Stiffness and Yield strength of Split tee caused by cover plate Part 2. Experimental result

摘要

In this study, failure Mode1-4 are introduced to evaluate thebehavior of Split-T with cover plate in tensile test.[1] Failure mode of Split-T with cover plate depends on thelength of cover plate.[2] Formula.1 in part1 is able to evaluate the yield strength ofSplit-T with cover plate accurately. Yield strength and initialstiffness of Split-T with cover plate are higher than that ofSplit-T without cover plate no matter which failure modeoccurs.
