From the experimental results explained above, the followingconclusions were obtained:1) The maximum strength of both specimens strengthenedby wing walls was significantly increased compared tothat of the control specimen. Moreover, the ductility ofthe specimen FP-W2 was larger than that of the specimenFP-W1.2) Punching shear failure occurred in FP-W1 at themaximum strength, while it was observed after themaximum strength for FP-W2. Shear cracks extendedradially from the column and the surface concrete peeledup due to the punching shear failure.
