ELES-based model is proposed in this paper for urban residents housing purchasing power measuring, and demonstration analysis are made with the relevant data in Beijng. The different urban family’s housing purchasing power can be measured with this model; what’s more, whether it is corresponding to the housing market price can be analyzed. The demonstration analysis on Beijing’s urban residents shows that urban residents family with more than middle-higher income level have the housing purchasing power in the market and urban resident family with less than middle-lower income level haven’t enough housing purchasing power. The relevant suggestion to solve this problem has been proposed in the last part.
