Decoupling Control on Air-conditioning System with Combined Radiant Cooling and Independent Fresh air

The main problems of the traditional air condition are high energy consumption and low comfort. A new air condition system called radiant cooling and independent fresh air was proposed, which effectively solves the above problems. However, nonlinear and strong coupling problems of the new system constrains the practical application. In this paper we describes utilizing a decoupling control scheme based on Model Free Adaptive Controller (MFAC) method to solve nonlinear and strong coupling problems. MATLAB software was used to simulate room temperature and CO2 concentration of the new system. The results of different tests show decoupling control reached the requirement.
