Kwan Phayao tourism promotion and support mobile and web application

摘要

Kwan Phayao is a lake located in Phayao province. It is the most attractive lake and the largest fisheries of the upper northern Thailand. Phayao province is a city with historical significance since there is the discovery of numerous stone inscriptions. In order to support social location and mobile (SoLoMo) tourists, Kwan Phayao tourism has to be supported and promoted. This paper proposes Kwan Phayao tourism recommendation system. The application conveniently connects tourists to hotel, restaurant, attractions, and shop entrepreneurs via mobile and web application. When users browse an attraction, the system recommend similar attractions using k-NN algorithm based on following characteristics: nature, adventure, activity, and culture. The entrepreneurs are available to update, edit, and delete their information online easily. The travelers and general users can provide reviews on restaurants and hotels. The application is tested by 24 entrepreneurs and the performance is evaluated by user satisfaction scores.
