Requirement elicitation for smart flow modeling in hospital case studies

The Demand of health services has been growing much faster than other industries. Aging of the population affects the nature of skills and services so that healthcare professionals must be prepared to provide delivering the right healthcare service to fit the needs of an individual, anywhere, anytime. This paper presents a smart hospital system that is based on the best and automated process aiming to improve the existing patient care practices, and to introduce new capabilities based on the big data revolution that ensures the infrastructure is smart. Therefore, the initial process of requirement elicitation for the smart workflow of the hospital is an important process. Thus, we propose a novel Smart Flow Model for smart hospital based on several elicitation techniques used for gathering requirements. Moreover, this workflow provides a better way to understand the complex hospital logistics system and simplifies the hospital workflow easier. Simulation results reveal that the proposed Smart Flow Model works faster than the existing workflows.
