The paper discusses about the robust control strategy applied to Switched inductor-Capacitor Hybrid Buck-SEPIC Two-Input DC-DC converter (SICHBSTIC) suitable for giving wide range of voltages for different applications. The prime concern of multi-input converter topologies is to trim the burden on primary source, and also provide wide range of output voltages. Further it is necessary for MIC to maintain the voltage-regulation and load-sharing, ensuring the stable operation throughout its usage. The SICHBSTIC is operated in continuous conduction mode, and discrete-time models of converter are established for trailing-edge pulse width modulation. The multi-input multi-output (MIMO) robust Quantitative feedback theory (QFT) based control strategy is employed in discrete-domain to study and control the disturbances and uncertainties. A 36/12 V to 24 V and 200 W DC power rating is considered to verify converter robust control in simulation environment.
