In the past decades, the demand of energy is exponentially increases and the search for the alternative way of energy sources has become more imperative. This paper presents the new energy harvesting technique for handheld electronic device charging applications from ambient energy sources. For this method, we analyzed various types of antennas and RF energy harvester module RFD-ASSY-01 by using RFD102A array to find out the optimum frequencies for better DC power output. During the analysis, we found that at 2.12 GHz frequency both the antenna and RF energy harvester module gives output of 1.663V DC after three hours of wireless RF power harvesting. To optimize the RF energy harvester antenna choosing is very important. Whatever, the results can be improved if the antenna is designed for the specific frequency with higher gain or design a multiband antenna or a wideband antenna.
