A new approach to uncoordinated frequency hopping multiple-accesscommunication

The uncoordinated M-frequency T-user multi-access channel withoutintensity information is discussed. We give an approximation for thechannel capacity and draw a comparison with the coordinated case. Wepoint out, that for a larger number of users, a non-uniform inputdistribution must be used in both cases. Finally, we describe a codingscheme, that asymptotically achieves capacity
