Online PLC monitoring and network administering system for steeltube mill

摘要

This paper discusses an online PLC status monitoring and faultdiagnosis system on PC for the steel tube mill of Bao-steel Works. Thesystem can be incorporated in portable PCs to serve as a tool for PLCsystem monitoring or connected into a PC network to realize thecentralized monitoring of the whole workshop. The paper describes thesoftware function and its developing steps, and also gives a typicallayout of the network
