摘要

A new method for generating various kinds of contours of pistonrings using a cam is applied to a numerically controlled system forprecision turning of non-round piston rings. In order to achieve asatisfactory control performance and to ensure the desired contours, abuilt-in noise diagnosis and suppression policy and a fuzzy controlscheme are studied, and a series of experiments are performed to showthe effectiveness of the proposed method. It was proved that theproposed method can guarantee good control performance and robustness ofthe system and thus high quality of the products even the knowledge ofthe turning process and the actual dynamic model of the system is vague,imprecise and fragmentary
