Constant output voltage control method for buck-boost type switchedmode rectifier with fixed switching pulse pattern

Buck-boost type SMR (switched mode rectifier) has the constant DCoutput power characteristics, so the DC output voltage inversely dependson the DC output (load) current. In this paper, the novel voltagecontrol method for the buck-boost type SMR is reported on theoretical,simulated and experimental bases, when the SMR is operated under thediscontinuous current mode (DCM) and also the main semiconductor switchof SMR is operated at the fixed frequency with the fixed switching pulsepattern.
