As a parallel system employs more processors to become morecomplex, it is very hard to understand, evaluate, and tune the systemwithout the aid of the performance information visualization. Manyresearchers have found that the criteria of good visualization usuallyinclude scalability, multiple views, context and user interaction. Inspite of much research in performance visualization of a parallelsystem, only a few results are available which meet those criteria in anintegrated fashion. The paper presents an integrated visualizationframework satisfying those criteria for interprocessor communicationusing 3-D virtual space. The proposed framework is currently applied toa parallel system SPAX (Scalable Parallel Architecture computer based onXcent-net) being developed by the ETRI (Electronics andTelecommunications Research Institute)
