Field patterns within the electrically stimulated cochlea aredescribed by a three-dimensional finite-element model. Aradially-oriented bipolar electrode pair in an insulating carrier ismodeled in scale tympani. Results are compared with an earliertwo-dimensional model, and field pattern sensitivities for selectedtissue resistivities are explored
