Soft computing issues in the intelligent control of holonicmanufacturing systems

This paper analyzes the role of soft computing in the design ofholonic control. After a brief introduction to the concepts of holonicmanufacturing the design of a multiagent architecture chosen as a casestudy is presented. Then a behavioral control strategy which integratesseveral soft computing techniques is presented together with itsimplementation for the holonic control of the involved agents
