Propagation is an interesting field of study which has been sadly neglected byRadio Amateurs and Short-wave Listeners. With the advent of satellites, answersto many new questions have to be found! What happens to signals that hit theionosphere from above? This paper looks at some of the work done and proposes anall out effort for Radio Amateurs to carry out some seriousresearch.
