Finding Veronica: Methods for Obtaining Recordings of Satellite Passes and Searching for Fox-1 Satellite Telemetry Beacons using Known Noise on an FM demodulated downlink

Fox-1a sends down telemetry in three different ways: data-under-voice telemetry sent simultaneouslywith the user transponder audio, data-under-voice telemetry sent with a regularly scheduled voice IDbeacon after a two minute period of inactivity and data-under-voice telemetry sent with a safe mode IDvoice beacon. The voice IDs are prerecorded audio where Veronica[6] announces “Hi, this is amateurradio satellite Fox-1” or “Fox 1 safe mode.”
